The mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Midcoast Maine is to provide children in Knox, Lincoln, Penobscot and Waldo Counties facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported 1-to-1 relationships that change their lives for the better, forever.

Our Program

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Midcoast Maine (BBBSMCM) is committed to bringing a little magic into the everyday lives of children by matching them with screened, trained volunteers in one-to-one relationships in two models: School-Based Mentoring and Community-Based Mentoring.
